I have always loved a denim jacket. Back when I was 14, I saved my pocket money for weeks to buy one. It was Levis, and I thought I was the coolest kid on the quad.
I wish I could say I was inspired by Kate Moss, during the Johnny Depp years, but unfortunately it was 90’s girl band B*witched, who sang that pop tune ‘C’est la vie’, that made me fall in love with the jean jacket. However another 14 years have now passed, and fortunately so has that B*witched girl crush.

Now I am throwing an indigo cotton jacket over silk dresses for parties, layering them on top of little fur vests, (because they are not actually that warm), and teaming them with anything somewhat sophisticated, like a black pencil skirt, to add a youthful edge to it.

Post Easter long-weekend blues.. such a relaxing break. Sad to be back at work but only 4 sleeps until Bali holiday! Can’t wait to sip cocktails, read my book and sunbake in the privacy of my own villa.

Bright colour popping bags - I need one, you need one, we all need one.
Here are some of my current faves:

The Céline Luggage in hot blue suede. My bestie Zara Bryson has one…

I’m not even jealous, ZZ…

The colour blocking Céline Diamond in pony yellow

The Proenza Schouler PS1 in bright red

Or my absolute favourite PS1 in the turquoise weave. Owned by such amazing women as the Man Repeller who obviously just wear them around to make me insanely jealous because it’s been out of stock FOR EVER and I can’t stand it.

If we’re going to go bright, let’s just go neon. These are the Cambridge Satchel Company’s Fluoro collection beauties. Sigh.

And finally, this lovely one is the Evangeline from the talented perth bella Belle Bijoux. I wish everything I owned had a tassel.
